We had a great time celebrating Miles first birthday with a few family and friends last Saturday.
I made a photo wall with pictures from his first year. Instead of cake, we served milk and cookies...and coffee for the grown ups.
There was a table outside for the kids to build their own kaleidoscope and another with cloud dough. Mostly they just played in the mud kitchen, though!
Favors were bags with glow in the dark stars, glitter play dough, and mini Milky Way bars. The littles got star shaped pillows that played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
Tables were decorated with gold glitter stars and stars cut out of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" sheet music.
Paleo pizzas (in the shape of stars) were served for lunch with homemade pimento cheese and sweet potato chips, veggies (cut like stars) and paleo ranch, antipasto skewers (gherkin pickles, olives, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, and salami), and watermelon mint salad (cut like stars).
Miles closest-in-age cousin, Clifton.
Miles had his own cupcake topped with a star sparkler.
